As modern devices demand higher performance, reduced power consumption, and enhanced functionality, VLSI design plays a pivotal role in enabling innovation across diverse application areas. The paper highlights advances in design methodologies, system-on-chip (SoC) integration, and emerging domains such as neuromorphic computing, low-power architectures, and hardware-based security. Several case studies demonstrate how reconfigurable and power-efficient VLSI architectures are shaping the future of consumer devices.
